The Chattering Magpie and the Eagle

The Chattering Magpie and the Eagle. A magpie asked the eagle to include her in the eagle's household and servants, something she deserved because of the beauty of her body and also for the quickness of her tongue in carrying out the eagle's commands. The eagle replied, "I would do this thing, if I were not afraid that everything which happens inside the house you will carry outside the house with your chattering."

Notes. This is Abstemius 26. As usual with Abstemius, it is not found in Perry's inventory. Gossips can actually be very destructive members of any organization - so office managers, as well as eagles, need to be careful about whom they hire!
