Boothby: The Eagle and the Snail
An Eagle, thro' the air on sail,
On a high rock descried a Snail:
"How cam'st thou on this lofty steep?"
He said, "Sir," says the Snail, "I creep."
How many a reptile do we see
Crawl, where he ne'er was made to be!
